      You asked:
I hardly bleed at all. Is that normal?

      Libra answer:

Yes, it’s perfectly normal. There is an enormous difference between how much women bleed. Some women only lose less than a tablespoon (10 ml) while others lose 200 ml during each period. But speak with your doctor or gynecologist if you’re concerned.

      You asked:

Why do some pads have wings and others not?

      Libra answer:

Pads with wings are less likely to move around in your underwear than those without.  Wings also provide better side protection for your underwear.  Some people want wings and others don’t. If you don’t know whether you’re the wing type, try both and see which you prefer.  Libra offers both pads with wings and without, so everyone can find a pad they’re comfortable using.

      You asked:
Do thicker pads absorb more fluid?

      Libra answer:

Not necessarily. Thinner pads have the same amount of pulp as thick pads, but they are compressed.  So they absorb the same amount, they’re just thinner.  Pads that are longer – like Libra Goodnights – are more absorbent due to their size.  The bigger the surface area, the greater the absorbency.

Libra Invisible and Extra Thin pads have a special core that absorbs much more than you’d imagine. The only real difference between them is about comfort. Some girls prefer the feeling of a thicker, more cushiony pad and others prefer a thin one. Luckily we provide both so that you can choose whichever you like best.

      You asked:
I bleed heavily and have to change my pad or tampon constantly. Is there anything I can do?

      Libra answer:

You could try going up in absorbency – from regular to super, or from mini to regular and see if this lessens the occurrence with which you need to change.  Otherwise, the only real thing to do is to change your pad or tampon regularly and if you’re using tampons, secure yourself further with a liner as well.  For a good night’s sleep, try Libra Goodnights. It follows the shape of your body and is super-absorbent for overnight.
